1886 pattern infantry cap

between the 1850-01-01 and the 1990-12-31 , Meiji era

A rare 1886 pattern infantry cap (a private purchase probably for a reservist), Russo-Japanese war period. The cap has a small Prussian style visor and a "tall" shape. I was suspicious about the chinstrap and buttons but it is privately made so anything is possible.
