Revolver used during the First World War by BERTHAUD Auguste, French soldier.
He fought in the 210th Infantery Regiment then in the 334th Infantery Regiment.
On his death, his son, BERTHAUD Georges Auguste recovered the weapon then added 9mm bullets to it (it was useless but he said he felt better...) before finishing adding to the lot the bandages that the Americans offered him when they released them from the STO (=obligatory labor service) camps.
