Sergeant BERTHAUD Gérard at the guard post of the 1st Parachute Hunter Regiment.

One day, seeing a car driving haphazardly in the parking lot, he had two fellows sent there to stop it. After beating him up, the man who was forced out kept saying that they were going to regret it, making fun of it, Sergeant BERTHAUD had him placed in the prison for the night.

The next day a man comes to warn him that the man must be taken out of the prison immediately; it was the officer from the neighboring barracks who had come to “test the defense system”.

As having acted within the rules, Sergeant BERTHAUD was not penalized but will never again be assigned to the guard post...
