FFI troops parade on the banks of the Saône for the liberation of Mâcon.
Little “anecdote”: VILLENEUVE Jean and his eldest daughter, Marie Josèphe, were going shopping in town in Mâcon. Marie Josèphe finding it odd that they didn't stop at a store that was much closer than the one they usually go to, she asked why.
VILLENEUVE Jean replies "During the war his parents were collaborators, on the day of the liberation the whole BOURGEOIS family was lined up for the execution squad."
