Dear Parents

I am sending you a few words to tell you my news which is very good at the moment and I think that my card finds you in good health as well.

I will tell you that I received the package of tobacco which makes me very happy because when we don't have tobacco we find the time long especially but we find the days long. Well, that's it, it still works.

I am sending you my photo; Its the piece that won the shooting competition so we photographed it for nothing. I'm not very well, I'm a little sad. I'll send you another one. I joined the Cuistots. They wanted me to go with them... so I finished my card by kissing you all

The Hotchkiss machine gun which won the 1920 shooting prize of the 134th RI. We can also observe the wearing of cartridge belts from 1882 by a soldier.
