I was on leave for Easter that 24 hours there were no leaves. The strength was to remain at 90 men.

A few days before your letter that you sent me.

We had the company photographed together by a photographer and a few days later by a friend the section together but I don't have them yet, the guy is on leave.

Soldier Jean Simon DEVERCHERE of the 134th Infantry Regiment died in Coublanc on March 21, 1909 of pulmonary tuberculosis.

In the center of the photo we can see Captain VIARD who died on December 16, 1914. Disemboweled the day before during the fighting at Steinbach/Scheltzenburg while returning from two months of training. Captain commanding the 17th company of the 334th Infantry Regiment.
