"Mâcon, September 23, 1914

Dear all

I arrived safely in Mâcon last night at 5:30, and we stayed at the 26th Infantry Regiment, which is stationed in a high school. I found myself with a friend who is at the 26th Infantry Regiment and who was part of the Grocery Society with me. We slept on straw and were very comfortable.

JACQUINOT Henri Jean Baptiste, here with the 26th Infantry Regiment. Having arrived the day before, he slept at the Lamartine High School in Mâcon.

Henri JACQUINOT died on December 28, 1914, in Boezing (West Flanders, Belgium), at the age of 20.
