Portrait of Henri GEROME during his military service in the 134th Infantry Regiment (from November 16, 1903 to September 18, 1906). Mobilized in August 1914 in the 151st IR, he was shot in the right arm at Mont-Saint-Eloi (Nord). Mentioned in the battalion's orders on November 23, 1915. Taken prisoner within the 16th Battalion of Chasseurs à Pied (2nd company) on July 10, 1916. Repatriated at the end of the war.
