Grand Faudé

Photo taken by a Bavarian soldier from the Grand Faudé from the western slopes of Lapoutroie (Schnierlach in German).

The Faudé Tower appears to have already fallen under French artillery fire; the slopes are well bombarded. Traces of snow are also visible.

Lapoutroie leads to the Col du Bonhomme but this road seems to lead to the Tête des Faux.
