Men of the 6th London Brigade RFA. The sender of the postcard was Gnr James Talbot Carter and was sent to his nephew, Jack Harold Irwin Carter(Born 1/9/1905, died in 1989), on the 20th of July 1914. Just 8 days before Austro-Hungry declared war on Serbia. James joined the 6th London Brigade RFA in May 1909 and he later won the MM as 662 with A/236 Bde during WW1. He was a dentist outside of the army and died 11/7/1947.
