This photo was taken during the Continuation war after Finnish forces advanced to Petrozavodsk (Петрозаводск) and captured the city. During the Finnish occupation the name of the city was changed to Äänislinna and things reminding of the former Soviet ownership such as some monuments were removed. The photo shows the "Äänislinna" train station.
