Two Finnish soldiers stand in front of the "lamella barracks" (lamellikasarmi) at the Niinisalo garrison in mid to late 1930s. The barracks building was finished in 1935, which means that it was still very new in this photo. This photo was taken by Eino Nurmi, who was a Finnish war correspondent later on during the war years.
