Vasili Lemke, aka Vilho Lemke

Photo of Vasili "Vilho" Lemke, a Finnish Russian officer who was wounded 10.10.1941 in a battle as part of Osasto Kuusisaari (Detachment Kuusisaari), a light infantry unit formed for fast raids and attacks. He died on 12.10.1941 in the 22nd War Hospital and is buried in Helsinki Orthodox Cemetary. Photo taken in Helsinki Main Railway Station.
