Perkjärvi Artillery Training Grounds were located in modern day Kamenka (rus. Каменка).
He is wearing the m/22 summer uniform with breeches. The breeches were intended for horse drawn and mounted units and the Finnish field artillery of this period was mainly horse drawn in this period. He holds the rank of Kersantti (Sergeant) as shown by the three stripes on his epaulettes.
